【Mechnism】
Most of the phosphorus (P) contained as P-phytate in cereal ingredients. The chemical name of P-phytate is myo-inositol-hexaphosphate (C6H18O24P6). One inostitol molecule can combine with 6 phosphate bases at maximum. Therefore, in general, phytate phosphorus accounts for about 2/3 of the total phosphorus present in plants seed.
Phytaic acid is a strong chelator of important nutrients such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, Zn2+, protein, lipids, starch and so on. The bioavailability of phosphorus in feed without phytacin 5000 is no more than 30%, while it grows to 60% by effect of phytacin 5000, thus the output of phosphorus decreases by 30% reversely.
