Details :

Chemical Composition: Water-soluble initial condensate of dicyandiamide formaldehyde resin
Properties: Appearance: Colorless transparent viscous liquid
Solubility: Easily soluble in cold water. Its 5% solution is clear at 20°C. Fixative Y forms a clear solution in 5 times the amount of water at 50°C.
Ionic Nature: Cationic.
Compatibility: Can be mixed with non-ionic, cationic surfactants, or cationic synthetic resin initial condensates. Not compatible with anionic dyes or anionic surfactants.
Stability: May precipitate when exposed to hard water, strong acids, strong alkalis, tannic acid, sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate, or large amounts of sulfates and hypochlorites.
Metal Resistance: Metal ions such as iron and copper may affect the color of dyed products after fixation. Containers for fixative solutions should be made of glass, ceramic, etc.

Applications
Mainly used for various fabrics printed or dyed with direct and acid-soluble dyes. Post-treatment with Fixative Y can improve fastness properties such as washing, water, perspiration, immersion, and rubbing. It can also be used for fixing colors on silk, wool, cotton fabrics, and other fibers. This agent should not be used for anti-embrittlement treatment of sulfur black or for color fixation in resin finishing processes. Additionally, it can be used as a fixative in the manufacture of lakes and for paper dyeing.
Packaging: 50 kg plastic drum or 200 kg iron drum.
Storage and Transportation: Handle with care. Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Shelf life is one year.
