(3) Asphalt has strong water resistance, maintaining high stability and waterproofing function even when immersed in water for extended periods.

(4) Asphalt materials generally exhibit strong corrosion resistance, capable of resisting various chemical corrosion and oxidation. The production and construction costs of asphalt are relatively low, making it suitable for large-scale infrastructure projects.
