The copper-inlaid gate is a hydraulic control device primarily made of cast iron, combined with copper alloy or rubber sealing structures. It is mainly used in water supply and drainage, flood control, irrigation, and water conservancy projects, featuring corrosion resistance, high pressure-bearing capacity, and excellent sealing performance.
Structural Characteristics
The gate frame and gate plate are manufactured from gray cast iron or ductile cast iron, with an external arc design to enhance uniform stress distribution. The guide rail length accounts for 1/2 to 1/3 of the full opening height of the gate to improve stability. The sealing surface is inlaid with copper strips or rubber, and the gap is adjusted via a wedge device (≤0.1 mm), supporting bidirectional pressure bearing.
