Properties: Colorless crystals or white crystalline powder, salty taste, specific gravity 2.429, sublimates at 452°C, soluble in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ether, slightly hygroscopic in air with slight decomposition, turns yellow due to the release of a small amount of bromine, aqueous solution is neutral or weakly acidic.

Uses: Mainly used as a sedative for oral medications such as neurasthenia and epilepsy, photographic films and papers, also used in lithographic printing, wood fire retardants, and chemical analysis reagents.

Packaging and Storage: Composite bags, cardboard drums 30cm×37cm, lined with two layers of plastic bags, 25kg per drum. Should be stored in a cool, dry place. Isolate from acids, store sealed and protected from light.
