Product Overview XP21 Dicarboxylic Acid is a liquid monocyclic C21 dicarboxylic acid prepared from vegetable oil fatty acids. It can be used as a surfactant and chemical intermediate. It is mainly used in industrial cleaners, metalworking fluids, asphalt modifiers, textile auxiliaries, oilfield corrosion inhibitors, etc.

Performance and Applications
As an asphalt modifier, C21 Dicarboxylic Acid significantly improves the high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance, and aging resistance of asphalt. Specifically:
? High-temperature stability: C21 Dicarboxylic Acid enhances the high-temperature stability of asphalt, reducing its flow and softening point at high temperatures, thereby extending the service life of asphalt pavements.
? Low-temperature crack resistance: Under low-temperature conditions, C21 Dicarboxylic Acid increases the toughness of asphalt, reducing the risk of low-temperature cracking.
? Aging resistance: By adding C21 Dicarboxylic Acid, the antioxidant performance of asphalt is improved, enabling it to resist damage from ultraviolet rays and other environmental factors.
XP21 Dicarboxylic Acid salts are nonionic, anionic surfactant, and phenolic disinfectant coupling agents;
XP21 can serve as a synergist for nonionic surfactants in hard surface cleaning, suitable for various nonionic and anionic alkaline systems. It improves the cloud point, wetting, detergency, hard water resistance, rust prevention, and formulation stability of cleaning products.
It enhances the solubility of nonionic surfactants in strong alkalis at high temperatures. It is a raw material for heavy-duty surface cleaners and is one of the few additives that simultaneously provide multiple performance benefits and act as a co-solvent.
XP21 Dicarboxylic Acid and its salts offer ideal solubility, rust prevention, and lubricity in metalworking.
XP21 Dicarboxylic Acid ester derivatives can also be used in lubricants and plasticizers, providing excellent physical properties and suitability for conditions with large temperature variations.
XP21 Dicarboxylic Acid has a unique bifunctional structure. It and its polyamide derivatives can be used as curing agents for epoxy resins, ink resins, polyester polyols, and other materials.
