HumiSeal conformal coating acrylic series - 1B73:

1B73 is a single-component, solvent-based coating material from the acrylic series. It is characterized by the absence of benzene-based solvents. It is primarily used for the protective coating of PCBA, offering excellent moisture resistance. Like all acrylic coatings, it provides resistance to chemical corrosion, though its effectiveness in this regard is inferior compared to polyurethane materials. This series of products requires relatively short curing times at room temperature. Among silicone, polyurethane, synthetic rubber, and acrylic coatings, acrylic coatings typically achieve surface drying within 10-15 minutes. When heated to 60-80°C, the product can reach 65% curing within 3-5 minutes. The best curing results are achieved after high-temperature curing, followed by natural room-temperature curing. Since the product is not highly resistant to chemical solvents, it can be cleaned and removed using chemical solvents such as common aromatic hydrocarbons or even alcohol-based solvents. After thorough cleaning, the printed circuit board can be recoated. 1B73 complies with U.S. military standard MIL certification and UL94-V0 certification.
