The hydraulic bottom-opening weir gate is an upward-closing and downward-opening gate driven by hydraulic power. It is primarily used in locations such as intercepting wells, discharge outlets, and sewage outfalls, and functions for interception, flushing, regulating upstream water levels, flow control, and backflow prevention.

The hydraulic bottom-opening weir gate consists of a fixed frame, movable gate, hydraulic drive unit, front liquid level sensor, rear liquid level sensor, and control system. The gate is driven by the hydraulic system and can stop at any position within its stroke range. Through the front liquid level sensor, the gate can regulate the upstream water level and control flow; rapid descent of the gate enables flushing of downstream pipes and culverts; and with the rear liquid level sensor, the gate prevents downstream water from flowing backward, thereby providing backflow prevention.
