Small Leaf Arugula seeds originate from Italy, belonging to the Brassicaceae family, Eruca genus. Arugula is an annual herbaceous plant with a well-developed taproot and deep root system. Mature plants reach 30-40 cm in height, with cylindrical stems covered in fine hairs, stem diameter 0.2-0.4 cm. Leaves are pinnate, deeply lobed, with wavy margins, leaf length 10-15 cm, width 5-8 cm, petiole length 5-7 cm; flowers are yellow. It thrives in warm, cool, and moist climates, is resistant to saline-alkali conditions, drought, and waterlogging, and has strong cold tolerance. Arugula seedlings or tender leaves are edible, offering a strong sesame-like aroma and smooth, tender texture. They can be stir-fried, used in soups, or served as cold dishes.
