Uses:

1. One of the oils used to dilute oil paints, its components are derived from pine wood, volatile and capable of dissolving oil paints, with medicinal turpentine being of the highest quality. 2. Turpentine oil can be used in the production of synthetic camphor, synthetic mint tablets, terpineol, and synthetic fragrances.
