I. Product Characteristics

Non-oxidizing biocide and algicide HT-505 is a compound biocide and algicide made from quaternary ammonium salts and azolinone. It features high efficiency, broad-spectrum efficacy, rapid and long-lasting action, strong permeability, and a wide applicable range of temperature and pH. This product is highly effective in killing bacteria and algae, easily soluble in water, convenient to use, and low in cost, making it a multi-effective agent.

Non-oxidizing biocide is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water systems such as power plants, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, oil refineries, metallurgical plants, paper mills, and textile mills as a biocide, algicide, and slime stripper. It also has certain corrosion inhibition effects. It is applied through shock dosing, with a dosage generally ranging from 100 to 200 mg/L. When algae are abundant and rapid stripping is desired, the dosage can be appropriately increased, and floating matter should be promptly removed. If excessive foam affects production, a defoaming agent can be added.

Non-oxidizing biocide and algicide HT-505 must not be mixed with anionic surfactants.

IV. Packaging and Storage

Non-oxidizing biocide HT-505 is packaged in plastic barrels, each containing 25 kg or as per customer requirements. It should be stored in a cool, ventilated indoor area with a shelf life of ten months.

Non-oxidizing biocide and algicide HT-505 may irritate the skin. Pay attention to labor protection during operation and avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
