AF4 powder exhibits exceptional high-temperature resistance, UV resistance, radiation resistance, high permeability, low friction coefficient, and low dielectric constant. It can be used long-term at 350°C and withstand temperatures up to 450°C for short periods (24 hours). It is an excellent material for protecting components in aerospace and various extreme weather conditions. Currently, this material is designated by the U.S. military as a protective material for aerospace equipment.
