This machine is suitable for the grinding of raw materials in industries such as beneficiation of non-ferrous metals, smelting, chemical engineering, cement, and building materials, with a grinding fineness of up to 0.074mm.
Based on the grinding media, grinding mills can be classified into ball mills, rod mills, and autogenous mills. They can be used for both wet and dry grinding. Ball mills are categorized by discharge method into grate type and overflow type; by transmission method into peripheral transmission and central transmission ball mills; and by main bearing type into bush type and bearing type (energy-saving type). Peripheral transmission ball mills are classified by arrangement into left-hand and right-hand rotation. Facing the discharge end of the ball mill, if the motor is on the left side of the cylinder, it is right-hand rotation; if on the right side, it is left-hand rotation.
The rotating parts of the ball mill, such as the cylinder, are supported by main bearings at both ends. The motor drives the cylinder to rotate through a transmission mechanism. Material enters the cylinder through the feeding part and is crushed inside by the impact and self-grinding action of the grinding media and the ore itself. Due to continuous feeding, the material moves toward the discharge end and is expelled.

Large ball mills: 1) Equipped with a jacking device for convenient maintenance; 2) Include a slow-speed drive for easy startup and maintenance; 3) Utilize spray lubrication for large and small gears to ensure reliable lubrication, extend gear life, and save lubricating oil; 4) Incorporate an air clutch for soft starting, reducing the impact on the power grid during mill startup.
Energy-saving ball mills use double-row spherical roller bearings for the main bearings. When combined with permanent magnet synchronous motors and frequency conversion control, energy savings of 20-30% can be achieved.
