Since 2016, Arkema has been actively involved in the "Pragati" project, the world's first sustainable castor initiative, dedicated to promoting the sustainable cultivation of castor seeds. Bio-based Pebax? is made from castor seeds, supporting low-carbon environmental protection, offering a new low-carbon and eco-friendly option for various industries.

Polyether block Pebax? Rnew? 63R53 SP 01 resin is a thermoplastic elastomer based on renewable materials, polymerized from flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. This SP grade offers heat resistance and UV resistance.
According to ASTM D 6866, the renewable carbon content is 77%-81%.
