Input the average value of the calibrated heat capacity, click Store & Return to save and return to the main system interface.
【Standard Heat Value】: Click the white display box behind Standard Heat Value to pop up the keyboard, where you can input the standard heat value. This is the heat value of the standard substance used during instrument calibration. Input the value directly based on the data on the packaging of the standard substance used, then click Return to save and return to the main system interface.
【W(wǎng)ater Injection Time】: Click the white display box behind Water Injection Time to pop up the keyboard, where you can input the water injection time. This refers to the time for injecting water into the inner cylinder, which affects experimental accuracy. It is generally set to submerge the oxygen bomb. Input an appropriate value based on the oxygen bomb volume and voltage level, then click Store & Return to save and return to the previous menu.
【W(wǎng)ater Drainage Time】: Click the white display box behind Water Drainage Time to pop up the keyboard, where you can input the water drainage time. Set an appropriate drainage time to remove the test water from the inner cylinder.
【Ignition Heat】: Click the white display box behind Ignition Heat to pop up the keyboard, where you can input the ignition heat. The heat generated by ignition is set to 150J at the factory. If the length of the ignition wire and cotton thread remains unchanged, generally no adjustment is needed. If adjustment is required, input the new value, then click Store & Return to save and return to the previous menu.
【Additive Value】: Click the white display box behind Additive Value to pop up the keyboard, where you can input the additive value. For coal or other combustibles with low heat value, auxiliary combustion materials are needed to ensure the sample burns fully. Input the heat value of the additive (unit: J/g), then click Store & Return to save and return to the previous menu.
【Print Mode】: Click Print Mode to toggle the following number between 0 and 1. 0: Indicates automatic printing, meaning the test results are printed automatically after the experiment ends. 1: Indicates manual printing, meaning the results are not printed after the experiment ends and can be printed manually by clicking Print.
【Print Format】: Click Print Format to toggle the following number between 0 and 1. 0: Standard format. 1: Simplified format, only effective for heat generation.

Data Processing Menu:

Sulfur, hydrogen, and moisture directly affect the high and low calorific values. Input sulfur, hydrogen, and moisture, and the bomb calorific value (unit: j/g), then click Start Calculation to compute the high and low calorific values. Click Unit to switch between kilocalories, joules/gram, and megajoules/kilogram. Using this function allows for heat generation measurement even before sulfur, hydrogen, and moisture data are available. Once the sulfur, hydrogen, and moisture data are obtained, data processing can be performed under this function. Input the bomb calorific value, click Start Calculation, and the corresponding results will be displayed in the calculation results box. Click Print to print the processed data. Click View Data List to switch to the database and view historical records.

System Test Menu:

Click Ignition Test, and the MCU issues an ignition command to connect the ignition circuit. Used to test the ignition circuit.
Click Stirring Test, and the MCU issues a stirring command to activate stirring. Used to test the stirring circuit.
Click Water Injection Test, and the MCU issues a water injection command to drive the water injection pump to work.
Click Water Drainage Test, and the MCU issues a water drainage command to drive the drainage pump to work. Can be used to add water to the instrument's outer cylinder.
Click Stop Test to end all functional tests.
3. Accurately weigh 0.9-1.0g of analytical sample with particle size ≤ 0.2mm (accurate to 0.0002g) in a crucible. For oil products, weigh 0.3~0.5g. If testing samples prone to splashing or difficult to burn, wrap the weighed sample with lens paper of known mass and heat value, press firmly by hand, and place it in the crucible. Use a piece of lens paper, place the sample on it, wrap it tightly, and press firmly. For particularly difficult-to-burn samples, benzoic acid can be used as an additive, and the oxygen charging pressure can be increased to 3.2Mpa. If no additive is used, input 0 or ignore.
4. Remove the oxygen bomb cap, place the bomb head on the bomb head stand, and insert both ends of the approximately 70mm long nickel-chromium ignition wire into the electrodes, ensuring good contact. Avoid letting the ignition wire touch the crucible or the bomb wall to prevent short circuits that could cause ignition failure. Tie a cotton thread in the middle position to make contact with the sample in the crucible.
5. Add 10 ml of distilled water to the bomb cup, carefully place the bomb head into the bomb cup, tighten the cap, and then charge with oxygen until the pressure reaches 2.8-3.0MPa. The oxygen charging time must not be less than 15 seconds. If the pressure in the oxygen cylinder is below 5MPa, the charging time should be extended appropriately. If the pressure drops below 4.0 MPa, replace with a new oxygen cylinder.
