FM910 HollySys Power Module, Redundancy Configuration Description
The FM910 can be used in a 1:1 current-sharing redundant parallel configuration to jointly output 24VDC to power the system. Redundant configuration significantly reduces the failure rate of the power supply, thereby improving the reliability of the control system.
Installation and Fixation
Step 1: Press the switch button on the front panel of the FM910 to the OFF position. Insert the FM910 into the corresponding slot along the FM300 guide rail slot, ensuring that the 64-pin plug on the rear panel of the FM910 is tightly connected to the 64-pin socket inside the FM300.
Step 2: After confirming that the insertion is correct and secure, fasten the tightening screw on the front panel. Note: The disassembly method is the reverse of the above; perform Step 2 first, then Step 1.
Maintenance
1. Ensure good ventilation and heat dissipation during use.
2. Prolonged output short circuits are strictly prohibited.
3. If a short circuit fault occurs in any output, power must be turned off for at least 15 minutes, and the power module must be inspected and confirmed* before reuse.
4. After powering off the module, wait at least 1 minute before restarting.
5. It is strictly prohibited to use the FM910 in parallel with other models of 24VDC power supplies or 24VDC power supplies from other companies.
6. When used in a parallel redundant configuration, if one power module fails, it should be promptly turned off and replaced with a new module.
All modules in the field control station are equipped with a CPU, and each module periodically performs self-diagnostics. Diagnostics include the following aspects: CPU, memory, etc. self-test; digital output: read-back comparison self-test;
Analog input channels: Dual-channel input (in redundant configuration), comparing results to determine the correctness of the input channels;
Analog output channels: Dual-channel output (in redundant configuration), hardware automatically compares the consistency of output results for self-test;
