Morpholine
Other Products
Main Applications
Chemical Industry
Rubber additives: Used as vulcanization accelerators for synthetic rubber (such as morpholine derivatives NS, NOBS), which can improve vulcanization efficiency and product performance.
Solvents and catalysts: Used as a polar solvent in organic synthesis reactions (such as polyurethane synthesis), and also as a basic catalyst to promote condensation, alkylation, and other reactions.
Corrosion inhibitors: Adding morpholine to boiler water treatment and metalworking fluids can neutralize acidic substances and inhibit metal corrosion (by forming a protective film).
Agricultural Field
Synthetic pesticide intermediates (such as fungicides, herbicides); for example, morpholine fungicides (such as dimethomorph) are particularly effective against downy mildew and phytophthora blight.
Used as a raw material for plant growth regulators to regulate crop growth cycles.
Pharmaceutical Field
Used in the synthesis of antimalarial drugs, local anesthetics, etc.; the morpholine ring structure can improve the drug's water solubility and biological activity.
Other Applications
Preparation of corrosion inhibitors, dye intermediates, textile auxiliaries, etc.;
In oil and gas extraction, used as an additive in natural gas dehydration and desulfurization processes.
