The Artificial Marine Tidal Salt Spray Environment System is a device used to replicate marine tidal conditions under laboratory settings. It simulates complex factors such as tidal fluctuations, seawater沖刷 frequency, salt spray erosion, dry-wet cycles, sea wind levels, rainfall, and ambient temperature, while also enabling the simultaneous simulation of combined marine tidal and salt spray environments.

It provides a scientific basis for studying the durability and corrosion resistance of concrete in marine environments, evaluating durability, optimizing materials and design, validating structural stability, predicting service life, guiding maintenance strategies, improving economic and environmental benefits, and promoting the development of relevant technical standards. Additionally, it helps reduce risks in practical engineering applications.

Test Objectives

1. Simulate Real Marine Environment

Replicate tidal cycles (high tide, low tide), salt spray, seawater immersion, and other conditions in the laboratory to overcome the limitations of long duration and uncontrollability in natural testing.

2. Accelerate Material Aging

Intensify corrosion factors (e.g., high salt concentration, temperature and humidity variations) to shorten test cycles and rapidly assess concrete durability.

3. Optimize Material Design

Provide data support for the mix design of new types of concrete (e.g., corrosion-resistant concrete, marine concrete) and help select solutions for impermeability and chloride ion resistance.

4. Save Cost and Time

Avoid the high costs associated with long-term testing in real marine environments, predict material failure risks in advance, and reduce engineering maintenance expenses.

1. Automatically control water level changes to simulate multiple tidal cycles per day (e.g., 6 hours high tide / 6 hours low tide);

2. Support settings for different tidal ranges (e.g., spring tide, neap tide) to meet simulation needs for various sea areas.
