The ControlLogix-XT controller functions in the same way as a traditional controller. ControlLogix-XT products include control and communication system components, and when used with FLEX I/O-XT products, provide a complete control system solution suitable for environments with temperature ranges from -20...70°C (-4...158°F). When used alone, the ControlLogix-XT system can withstand environmental temperatures ranging from -25...70°C (-13 to 158°F). ControlLogix Enhanced Redundancy System
ControlLogix controllers support redundancy. Redundancy switching controls the secondary controller chassis to provide higher system availability. If the primary redundancy module detects any module failure in the main chassis, it enables higher productivity.
