TK-LS External Mount Ultrasonic Level Switch

1. Product Overview 
The TK-LS external mount ultrasonic level switch features a unique sensing element (probe) installed on the outer wall of the container. Compared to traditional level switches, its non-contact measurement method not only ensures high accuracy but also eliminates the need for drilling holes or hot work on the container wall, achieving true non-contact level measurement. It is mainly used for monitoring liquid levels in storage tanks, providing upper and lower limit alarms, or detecting the presence of media in pipelines (dry state protection). It is suitable for level process control in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, and food.
2. Working Principle
The TK-LS external mount ultrasonic level switch is developed and manufactured by Tuko Electronics. The probe is attached to the outer wall of the container, and the high-frequency pulse signals it emits can penetrate the container wall and propagate through both the wall and the medium. These signals are also reflected back by the inner surface of the container. By detecting and calculating the characteristics of these reflections and the propagation within the container wall (comprehensive wave), it can determine whether the liquid level has reached the measurement position. Utilizing Tuko Electronics' patented "ultrasonic frequency conversion" technology, it resolves the long-standing issues of signal instability and false alarms in traditional ultrasonic level switches, achieving a qualitative leap.
