Glyceryl oleate, also known as glycerol monooleate, has the molecular formula C21H40O4 and is used as a surfactant, lubricant, pharmaceutical raw material, etc. In the daily chemical industry, it is used as an emulsifier, thickener, opacifier, and defoamer in the production of creams, lotions, and liquid shampoo. In the textile industry, it is used as a fabric finishing agent and also as a pigment grinding additive. It is also used as an internal antistatic agent for PE, PP, and PVC, with a typical dosage of 0.5~2.0%.
